Accred License is a Microsoft 365 license optimization and ordering app for MSPs. It reads each client tenant’s subscriptions, assignments, and activity, flags unused, inactive, and overlapping licenses with an estimated monthly saving, and turns the fix into a quote and an order that a second person approves. It is in development and not available yet.
License is in development and not available to customers yet. There is no price, trial, or sign-up for it today. What follows is what the current build does, so you can judge whether it fits; details may change before release. In the current build every order is simulated: it is validated and recorded, and nothing is sent to a distributor.
What License looks for
- Paid licenses that are not assigned to anyone.
- Licenses held by inactive or disabled users.
- Overlapping plans assigned to the same person.
- Users on a full plan who only use email.
- Microsoft 365 Business plans near their 300-seat limit.
- Upcoming renewals and trials that are about to convert.
- Copilot licenses with little or no activity.
Each finding names the client, the licenses involved, and an estimated monthly saving, so a technician can decide what to change.
Quotes and orders with approval
- Build a quote from the catalog for a client. Quotes are valid for 7 days by default.
- Submit the order. An Owner or Admin who is not the requester approves or rejects it.
- At placement, every line is priced again. If the total moved by more than 1%, the order goes back to the requester.
- Before placing, License lists anything missing, such as the client’s linked tenant or a recorded Microsoft Customer Agreement acceptance.
Seat reductions follow Microsoft’s new commerce rules: they are allowed only shortly after a subscription term starts, so License offers to note the change for renewal instead. See when you can reduce Microsoft 365 licenses. Removals and cancellations are not part of this release.
Who sees cost and margin
Owners, Admins, and Managers see cost, sell price, and margin. Members and client administrators see sell prices only. A client administrator can only see their own client.
Every step, including simulated orders, writes an audit event. Events are chained with SHA-256 hashes so a changed or deleted entry shows up when the log is checked.

Is Accred License available?
Not yet. License is in development and is not available to customers. In the current build, orders are simulated and nothing is sent to a distributor.
What does Accred License flag?
Unassigned paid licenses, licenses held by inactive or disabled users, overlapping plans, users who only use email on a full plan, Business plans near the 300-seat limit, renewals, trials, and Copilot licenses with little activity. Each finding carries an estimated monthly saving.
Can one person place a license order alone?
No, by default. An Owner or Admin who is not the requester must approve. A one-admin organization can allow self-approval, and every self-approval is recorded as such.
Can Accred License cancel subscriptions?
No. Removals and cancellations are not part of this release. Seat reductions outside Microsoft’s short post-purchase window are noted for renewal instead.
