ScreenConnect and TeamViewer are remote support tools you can use today: ScreenConnect is sold as a single One license or per concurrent technician, cloud or on-premises, and TeamViewer Remote is licensed to named users on subscription. Accred Connect does a different job right now: it enrolls Windows devices by client and location and shows their status and inventory, free in private preview. Its remote screen, files, and PowerShell are coming soon.
Accred Connect has no remote control today. If you need remote sessions now, use ScreenConnect, TeamViewer, or another remote tool; Connect can run alongside it for client-scoped inventory. ConnectWise ScreenConnect
ScreenConnect is remote support software offered in the cloud or on-premises. On cloud plans, One is a single license at $30 a month billed annually. Standard and Premium are licensed per concurrent technician at $47 and $57 a month billed annually, or $62 and $72 billed monthly. Enterprise pricing is custom.
TeamViewer Remote
TeamViewer Remote, formerly TeamViewer Core, is described as fast and secure remote access and IT support. Commercial tiers include Business (one seat, one session), Premium (many seats, one session), and Corporate (many seats, three sessions), licensed to named users on subscription. A free tier is for personal, non-commercial use.
Accred Connect
Connect enrolls Windows devices into the right client and location with installers you can revoke, then shows online status from signed device check-ins, last check-in, agent version, operating system, and signed-in user, plus session history. It is free while in private preview, and an Owner or Admin turns it on in Hub. The preview installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows shows an unknown-publisher warning.
Which to choose
- Choose ScreenConnect for per-technician remote support with an on-premises option.
- Choose TeamViewer for named-user remote access with session tiers.
- Try Accred Connect for free, client-scoped device enrollment and inventory inside the Accred suite, and plan on remote sessions only once they ship.
